Innovative Project Manager ¦ Cheshire ¦ 6 Months Initially ¦ £400pd

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our client Client are currently looking for an Innovative Project Manager   

 

 

Main purpose of the role: Delivering complex global innovation projects on time in full, through best practice project management processes.

Main Accountabilities

·        Ensuring Client standard project management systems are used to plan, monitor and review project execution with the relevant KPI’s

·        Planning and execution of the end-end project

·        Developing the full scale project network and managing the plan, schedule and timelines

·        Facilitate the definition of project goals, objectives, scope, milestones and deliverables

·        Ensuring project risks are assessed, managed and mitigated as part of the total network

·        Defining project tasks and resource requirements with the project leader and team

·        Tracking project deliverables using appropriate tools and reporting progress

·        Quality in innovation process and product

·        Supporting the creation and ongoing review of the business case

·        Coaching the cross functional project team on best practice project management

·        Integrating, monitoring and managing  3rd party delivery as part of the project

·        Project evaluation, assessment and communication of results

Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, IT

Key Qualifications and skills

·        Project Management: IPMA, APM, PMI certified and knowledge of Prince2

·        Proven experience in managing projects, preferably within the FMCG sector, to achieve successful project outcomes

·        Demonstrated capability for problem solving, decision making, sound judgment

·        Understanding of stage gate and project delivery within fast paced business environment and knowledge/ application of critical chain project planning.

·        Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management and change management

·        Excellent oral and written communication skills, in addition to presentation skills and ability to conduct effective meetings and presentations with large teams.

·        Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills

·        Experience in coaching teams and individuals

·        Business acumen, experience in building  project business cases

·        Proficient in project management software (experienced user of MS project and toolset)
