Immediately Recruiting a Talent Development Assistant Manager based in the Surrey area. This is a full time, temporary role for 12 months to start ASAP with the possibility of being made permanent. This role works as part of the Leadership Development Team - Global functions and is responsible for supporting all facets of Talent, Development and Leadership Development, organization effectiveness and development for global functions. Main Accountabilities Employee Engagement & GPS - Manage the data cleaning, reporting, analyzing and supporting action planning where required. Lead for all business as usual process and day to day talent process, systems and programmes. These include; • End of year process - Senior executive leadership score cards & Dashboards and material to complete the Functional resource committees an end of year performance and remuneration calibration. • Master the Talent+ online system and able to produce reports (Advanced Excel) and advise HRBP’s and LM. Ad hoc collation / analysis as directed to produce insights for global executive teams for annual, quarterly and monthly reporting etc. Management & Talent development including diversity strategy providing subject matter expertise and guidance to HRBP’s in the areas of Human Resource Planning (HRP), Talent Reviews, Mentoring & Coaching, Standards of Leadership (SOL’s) and Diversity (provide and analyse report progress each month). Help to build capability across the functions in the area above; share, build, and leverage best practice throughout the organization and ensure there is a consistent approach to deployment in the areas to build the Talent supply and development of leadership. Performance Culture & Performance Management Develop and deploy (in line with global strategies) overall geographic performance management approach. Provide and analyse reports - various populations progress within the performance cycle during milestones throughout the year and work to identify and recommend ways to better embed a performance culture within the function. Look for opportunities to engage LM and HRBP with simple approach to adopt and execute. Work to help embed the individual development planning process with both senior managers and FRC’s. Leadership Development & Learning Develop and deploy (in line with global strategies) overall geographic training and development strategy covering General Skills programmes, Hi-Potential Programmes and other Leadership Programmes. Provides overall subject matter expertise to the geography in this arena and maintains key links with Client Academies to help provide a holistic learning approach that incorporates global and local professional, general and leadership skills. Provide value added service to HRBP’s in this area giving guidance on content & delivery methodologies etc. for their teams i.e. workshops, meetings, leadership event. Includes but is not limited to demand Planning and Scheduling. Ensure HRBP’s are assisted and work with the global learning team to ensure accurate demand planning and programme scheduling for key employees. Escalate and manage issues on behalf of the team with the global partners. Project Work - Lead specific projects that need to be scoped and delivered within the Talent & Development space. Works with the global, Category and functions ET and HRBP teams on projects as & when required. Ad hoc collation / analysis as directed to produce insights for global executive teams for annual, quarterly and monthly reporting etc. Skills / Experience • Fully operational with MS office and must be highly advanced at Excel. Ability to work with big data, complex analytics, VLOOKUP, production of insightful graphs and charts. • Project Management skills (pro-actively managing different priorities and timelines) • Works well under pressure • Take pride in accuracy and attention to detail • Ability to work in a matrix structure and be a good team player • University degree required • Minimum of 4 years of experience across areas including; Talent management and Capability building HR metrics, Performance Improvement, HR business partnering • Operational experience in a global/regional role is desirable
