An experienced property professional is required to develop, manage and implement property review processes and property rationalisation programmes in order to identify, evaluate and promote value for money in the use of Derbyshire County Council's land and property assets. The post holder will also develop and manage the Council’s move management processes and manage and co-ordinate staff relocations around the county.
Manage the performance of the Council’s corporate property portfolio
Contribute to the development and implementation of the Corporate Asset Management Plan.
Assist with the formulation and implementation of an Estates Strategy and property rationalisation programme that meets the council’s objectives.
Develop and implement corporate asset and facilities management strategies that meet the Council’s objectives.
Manage and undertake property reviews of the Council's operational and non- operational property, in conjunction with the Council's service departments and external bodies to identify property objectives, along with current and future needs. The property reviews will identify ineffective, inefficient and uneconomic property usage, with a recommendation for action.
Undertake option appraisals and complete business cases on Council owned and non-Council owned properties to determine the most efficient and effective uses and to advise and recommend on adaptations, improvements and procurement.
