My local authority client are seeking a Streetworks Inspector to join their team in Wakefield for initially a 3 month contract.
Certificate of Competence (Supervisor) – City and Guilds of London Institute
Minimum 5 Years relevant experience
Understanding of the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 including Codes of Practice
Ability to work both independently and within a team.
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Experience of dealing with Statutory Undertakers.
Experience of Highway Construction methods and good practice.
Technical qualification in a relevant subject.
Geographical knowledge of Wakefield Area
Basic IT competency
Previous liaison with a range of organisations/persons.
In depth knowledge of Reinstatement Standards
